Youth Ministry Assistant, QUARTER-time

Areas of Responsibility: Assist the Youth Pastor in the strategic, administrative and operational delivery of the youth ministry programming; and to help implement events and gatherings for the Gayton Student Ministry, primarily Sunday mornings and LifeNights. Assist in maintaining the youth areas and youth closet spaces. After proper training, run sound/computer/screen equipment for youth worship times or special events. Work with the Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor and youth band to ensure lyrics and any audio/visual presentations are set for youth events. Able to demonstrate the interpersonal skills, experience and heart for serving, and caring for young people and their families. Education (prior or pursuing) in the fields of youth work, teaching or ministry preferred.
