Minister to Youth, FULL-time
The Minister to Youth will: Administer, develop, and implement youth ministries and programs designed to meet the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the youth at the Church and in the community. Serve as staff liaison to the Youth Committee. Work effectively with all ministerial staff to accomplish the objectives of the Church. Participate in the worship services and outreach programs of the Church as assigned. Participate in guest follow-up, outreach, and hospital visitation. Develop healthy relationships with parents and guardians of all youth, providing communication about all programming and resources for them to assist in their growth as Christian parents and to counsel with them when needed. Participate in an annual performance evaluation of self and each supervisee on the Church staff. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree is required. Seminary degree is preferred. 3-5 years of ministry experience with at least some of it being with students. Bilingual would be a bonus.

Worship Leader, Part-Time

Virginia Military Institute is accepting applications for the part-time position of Chapel Praise and Worship Leader. The Praise and Worship Leader is responsible for selecting and leading music for a weekly non-denominational Christian worship service on Sunday evenings. The Praise and Worship Leader conducts weekly rehearsals with a cadet chapel band, coordinates with chaplains for weekly services, and supervises the set up and tear down of audio-visual equipment.
Requirements include experience and training in contemporary church music, working with a small band, knowledge of sound systems and audio-visual equipment. Enthusiasm and good communicative skills, and the ability to work well with diverse groups is essential. Experience working with young people is preferred.
This is a year round position, approximately 8-10 hours per week. The salary for this appointment will be commensurate with education and experience.
